Meet Tonja

Tonja E. Withers is a pastor, author and baker who uses her voice, her pen, her culinary skills, and her ministry to be used by God to help heal and change the world - one person at a time!

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Tonja is a saved, single woman in her 50’s who has never been married nor has children. She has boldly shared her testimony on how she overcame her struggles with lust, loneliness, and insecurities. She is a living witness that through self-awareness, self-analysis, and self-confidence, singles can find joy in everyday life. In a society where a lot of subjects are considered “taboo” in the church, Tonja is not afraid of tackling those subjects head-on, especially when it means it will help bring true deliverance for others.

Tonja has also written two books - A Single Perspective: Every Woman's Journey to Wholeness and Paradise in Singleness: Is It Possible? Both books are designed to help singles be made whole and have healthier relationships. She also has two podcasts, an audio podcast called The Realities of being Single, and a video podcast called Every Single Morning (currently on her YouTube channel).

Most recently, Tonja was ordained as a pastor and the Lord has led her to start her own ministry named Freedom and Love Internet and International Ministries headquartered in Dallas, TX. The mission of Freedom and Love Ministries is to help free God's people from past traumas and issues and love them through the process!

When she is not ministering or writing, Tonja's favorite hobby is to bake and God's Lil' Girl Baking was born! Established in 2011, God's Lil' Girl Baking was created out of a need to earn extra income. Tonja would take some of her grandmother's recipes and make them her own. The results are tasty baked goods that will remind you of home!
